European markets were flat as major markets returned to action after the Easter weekend and investors looked ahead to the start of a new trading quarter.

2. Bharat Electronics gained 4.64% to Rs. 221.05, after the company has recorded turnover of Rs. 19,700 Crore in FY24, which is 13.7% higher from Rs 17,333 Crore in FY23. Global Signals- Asian stocks traded in range after strong US data.

Buzzing stocks on BSE- 1. Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail (ABFRL) rose 11.55% to Rs. 236.15, after the company asked its management to evaluate the vertical demerger of the Madura Fashion & Lifestyle (MFL) business into a separate listed company.
